Sanghi Industries: Sanghi Industries Limited is incorporated in the year 1985 as Sanghi Leathers Pvt. Ltd, started its activities with manufacturing of PVC Foam Leather cloth. It subsequently diversified into manufacturing of BOPP self adhesive tapes, PVC insulation tapes, Hard Leather, Tarpaulins, Stock Labels, Rigid PVC sheeting, etc. In 1987, the company established a versatile tapes division which manufactures a wide range of adhesive tapes. Pressure sensitive ‘MIRACLE’ BOPP tapes for application in stationery and packaging “MIRACLE” electrical insulation Tape acknowledged for quality conforming to international standards. Adding to the product line is the ‘Post script’ the revolutionary adhesive jotting pad – a most useful product for institutions and offices. Rigid PVC Film, as it possesses characteristics such as transparency, lustrous color, toughness, chemical resistance and easy processing, is widely applicable for packing of all merchandise, food/ pharma products, and for making stationery, decorations, construction materials etc. Diversifying further, a division of Sanghi Industries Limited named Sanghi Cement, set up a largest cement plant of 2.6 million tones per annum capacity at Sanghipuram in Kutch District of Gujarat, India. The facility produces clinker and cement products which are being sold in Indian and International markets. The plant is designed and construction supervised by a leading US company. The facility is highly automated with process control equipment from Switzerland. The plant also incorporates high level optimization packages and Robotic systems. While 50 per cent of the produce is sold in the high demand western and southern coastal markets of India, remaining 50 per cent is tied up in long term export contracts for sale into regional markets in West Asia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Singapore and other neighboring countries. Almost the entire produce is transported by Sea. |
